Chinese automaker Chery is moving into the two-wheeler market. Recent filings with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology reveal a new electric moped with a design similar to the Yamaha Vino.
While official pricing remains unannounced, similar budget electric mopeds in China typically cost around $300. These entry-level models generally feature a hub motor on the rear wheel and a battery capacity under 2 kWh, providing a range of approximately 50 kilometers per charge.

Beyond this budget moped, the company is developing more advanced two-wheelers. Recent technology showcases included two concept models:
- Cinnox: A fully electric adventure scooter with a claimed range of 150 to 200 kilometers.
- Grow C3: A range-extender electric cruiser featuring AI technology and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capabilities, designed to power external devices.

Chery has not confirmed production timelines or international availability for these models. There is no information regarding a potential launch in Nepal.
