Price update for Saarthi Ecoter E3
Saarthi has revised the price of its Ecoter E3 electric scooter in Nepal. According to the company, the Ecoter E3 now costs Rs 2.27 lakh, up from the earlier price of Rs 2.16 lakh, an increase of Rs 11,000.
The Ecoter E3 targets riders who want an electric scooter for daily office runs as well as longer trips inside the city. Saarthi is pitching it as a higher-quality, low-maintenance option in the entry-to-mid EV segment.
Motor, battery and claimed range
According to the announcement, the Ecoter E3 is equipped with:
- 3000W peak-power hub motor
- 2.74kWh lithium-ion battery pack
- Claimed real-world range of up to 100km per full charge
The brand says the 3kW motor is tuned for strong pickup on uphill roads, rough surfaces and broken city streets, while keeping acceleration smooth. The 2.74kWh battery is aimed at typical city users who need a full day’s commute on one charge, not very long highway distances.
Practical storage and everyday usability
One of the practical highlights from Saarthi is the 35-litre underseat storage. This large boot can hold a full-face helmet, laptop bag, shopping items and daily essentials at the same time. That makes it handy for office-goers as well as family use in the city.
Safety and smart features
The Ecoter E3 comes with a set of safety and convenience features more commonly seen on higher-end electric scooters. As per the company, key features include:
- 12-inch wheels for better stability
- Dual disc brakes with combined braking system (CBS)
- Hill-hold assist to prevent rolling back on slopes
- Regenerative braking system to recover energy while slowing down
- Parking sensor
- Anti-theft alarm
- Auto wheel lock system
These features are meant to make the scooter easier and safer to use in dense urban traffic and on hilly routes around the Valley.
Durability, service network and positioning
Saarthi claims the Ecoter E3 is built with higher-quality components to keep long-term maintenance costs low and improve durability.
The company states that the main showroom is located in Naxal, Kathmandu, and that sales and service for the Ecoter E3 are available through more than 18 showrooms across Nepal. Within the Kathmandu Valley, Saarthi says it operates around 20 dedicated service centres, which it claims is one of the largest service networks among electric scooter brands in Nepal.
With its new price of Rs 2.27 lakh, 3kW motor, 2.74kWh battery with a claimed 100km real-world range, practical 35-litre storage and wide after-sales network, Saarthi is positioning the Ecoter E3 as a reliable, premium-feel electric scooter option for Nepali buyers who want an EV for everyday use instead of a basic low-speed model.
