G.O. Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of JSW MG Motor in Nepal, has introduced a new daily EMI plan for the MG Comet EV. Under the scheme, buyers can take the compact electric hatchback home for Rs 520 per day. The company says that works out to a monthly EMI of Rs 15,535.
The financing offer is meant to make the Comet EV easier to buy for customers looking for an affordable city-focused electric car. According to the announcement, the daily instalment is positioned as a lower-cost option than regularly using ride-hailing services or hiring a personal driver.
The MG Comet EV is currently listed in Nepal from Rs 18.75 lakh. Some local listing platforms show different starting figures, so buyers should confirm the final on-road price with the dealer before booking. The model is designed mainly for urban use and seats four passengers.
What the MG Comet EV offers - Battery: 17.3 kWh - Motor: 31.26 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor - Torque: 110 Nm - Claimed range: up to 230 km on a charge - Charging: AC charging support
With its compact footprint and claimed 230 km range, the Comet EV is aimed at short daily commutes, school runs and routine city travel. Its small size should also make it easier to park and maneuver in crowded urban areas. That remains one of its main selling points for Nepali buyers.
For buyers comparing entry-level EV options, the main appeal of this offer is a more manageable monthly payment. The company has not said whether the scheme includes any special down payment, tenure change or limited-time conditions, so interested customers will need to check the latest financing terms at the showroom.
