According to the company, dealer applications have been invited in seven cities: - Butwal - Chitwan - Birgunj - Dhangadhi - Itahari/Biratnagar - Birtamod/Jhapa - Nepalgunj
At present, Maxus EV showrooms are operating only in Kathmandu and Pokhara, so this move is aimed at taking electric commercial vehicles closer to buyers across Province 1 to Sudurpaschim.
For interested business owners, the dealer call indicates that Maxus plans a wider push in the electric pickup and van segment rather than focusing only on the capital.
Maxus Iteron-9 electric pickup: variants and prices
Maxus currently offers the Iteron-9 electric pickup in Nepal, positioned as a premium work vehicle from Chinese auto group SAIC.
The company offers two variants: - Iteron-9 Comfort variant – price around Rs 88 lakh (according to the announcement) - Iteron-9 Premium variant – price above Rs 1 crore (according to the announcement)
According to the distributor’s information, Maxus EVs are marketed as high-quality, premium electric commercial vehicles. Detailed battery capacity, motor power and certified range for the Iteron-9 have not been officially listed in major public spec sheets yet, so buyers should request full technical data and warranty terms directly from dealers before making a purchase decision.
New electric van to debut at NIMA Nepal Mobility Expo
Himalaya Organization is also preparing to launch a new Maxus electric van in Nepal.

The company believes this new van will add a fresh option for electric public and staff transport, offering an alternative to diesel microbuses and school/office vans.
