Mahindra's Thar 3-door SUV facelift has been caught testing in India again. The latest spy shots give a clearer look at the updated front end.
Design changes spotted
- The test vehicle carries a new five-slot front grille with circular LED headlamps on either side.
- The front fenders look reworked, with new position lamps added.
- Spy images also show a new five-spoke alloy wheel design. This points to a mild cosmetic update, not a full overhaul.
Engines and drivetrains
The facelifted Thar 3-door is expected to keep its current engine range:
- 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine
- 1.5-litre diesel engine
- 2.2-litre diesel engine
These are likely to stay paired with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes. Four-wheel drive will remain available on selected variants. The update looks focused on styling and features. The mechanical package stays the same.
