Jetour SUV Showroom Coming Up in Thapathali
Kathmandu's SUV shoppers will soon have one more badge to consider. Laxmi Motorhub, under Laxmi Group, is building a new Jetour showroom in Thapathali.
Work at the Thapathali site is visibly progressing. Jetour's Nepal entry looks closer now, but Laxmi Motorhub hasn't announced an opening date. Pricing and variants for the Nepali market are still under wraps.
Jetour's Nepal debut has already been pushed back twice. The brand was first supposed to be unveiled at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, but the vehicles didn't arrive in time and Jetour couldn't be displayed. A second attempt was planned for the NADA Auto Show 2026. That fell through too, after the Bhotekoshi flood damaged the Rasuwa corridor, a key China-Nepal trade route, and delayed imports.
The Thapathali showroom is taking shape regardless. Buyers should get a clearer picture of which Jetour SUV models will come to Nepal, along with their features and prices, once Laxmi Motorhub confirms a formal launch timeline.
