Hero MotoCorp has officially unveiled the Xpulse 450 at the EICMA 2026 motorcycle show in Milan. This new flagship model marks the company's entry into the mid-capacity adventure segment.
Performance and Hardware At its core is an all-new 421cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve, DOHC single-cylinder engine. It produces 46.6 hp at 9,100 rpm and 38 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a standard assist and slipper clutch. The motorcycle is built on a new perimeter frame and features a 21-inch front wheel with wire spokes.
Suspension duties are handled by 43mm KYB upside-down front forks offering 225mm of travel. These units are fully adjustable, featuring 22-step compression and rebound damping. A monoshock is used at the rear.

Technology and Design The Xpulse 450 features a rally-inspired design with a tall windscreen and a vertically arranged LED headlamp. The cockpit includes a large, landscape-oriented TFT display that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Riders can select from multiple riding modes, including Rain, Road, Trail, and Off-Road, alongside switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS.
Market Context This new model sits as the most powerful motorcycle in Hero's current lineup. In the competitive mid-capacity adventure segment, it is positioned to challenge established models like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, which is currently sold in Nepal with prices ranging from Rs 10.13 lakh to Rs 10.80 lakh. It also competes with the KTM 390 Adventure, available in Nepal at Rs 11.40 lakh.

Hero has not yet announced pricing or a specific delivery schedule for the Xpulse 450. While the motorcycle has been unveiled, its availability in the Nepali market remains unconfirmed.
