Foxconn unveils three new electric vehicle models

Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn has unveiled three new electric vehicle models. The company aims to grow its contract vehicle manufacturing business through these additions.

The new models are the Model K, Model K+, and Model A+.

  • Model K: A compact commercial vehicle inspired by Japanese kei trucks. It offers two driving range options of 120 km and 250 km.
  • Model K+: An SUV featuring a rear high-speed motor and front in-wheel motors for four-wheel-drive performance in snowy conditions.
  • Model A+: An SUV version of the Model A with higher ground clearance, larger tires, and pillar-less sliding doors. It includes 24 sensors for advanced autonomous driving functions.

Foxconn develops its own EV platforms using shared architectures and powertrains. It then customizes these platforms to meet specific customer requirements for manufacturing. These models are not currently available in the Nepali market.
