**E-Drive Nepal has started using the MG Windsor Commute EV in its fleet.** Sixteen units were handed over in the first phase. G.O. Automobiles, the official Nepal distributor of JSW MG Motor India, has agreed to supply 50 units in total.
The move is meant to widen the use of electric vehicles in commercial transport. E-Drive Nepal says the addition fits its goal of offering premium, affordable and zero-emission travel.
The MG Windsor EV comes with a 38 kWh battery, 100 kW maximum power and 200 Nm torque. MG says it can deliver more than 330 km of range on a full charge. It also supports fast charging for fleet use.
Other features include Aero-Lounge seats that recline up to 135 degrees and 186 mm ground clearance. G.O. Automobiles says the model carries an 8-year/160,000 km warranty on the high-voltage motor and a 3-year/100,000 km commercial-use warranty on the rest of the vehicle.
The company says its service network will handle spare parts and maintenance support for fleet operators.
