Compact Arcfox T1 brings heated seats and 310 km range to Nepal

Chinese EV brand Arcfox is set to enter the Nepali market, with Laxmi Motorhub preparing to introduce the Arcfox T1 LV3 electric crossover in Kathmandu. According to the distributor, the EV’s price is expected to stay below Rs 40 lakh, positioning it among the more feature-rich yet attainable electric cars in Nepal.

Size and ground clearance

The Arcfox T1 is a compact crossover hatchback, measuring 4,337 mm long, 1,805 mm wide and 1,573 mm tall. Its 2,750 mm wheelbase is relatively long for this class, helping free up cabin space. A ground clearance of 181 mm has been quoted, which should be adequate for most urban and highway conditions in Nepal.

Motor, battery and range

Powering the T1 LV3 is a 70 kW electric motor delivering 170 Nm of torque, driving the front wheels. Energy comes from a 42.3 kWh LFP battery pack, with a WLTP-certified range of up to 310 km on a single charge and a top speed claimed at 140 km/h.

For charging, Arcfox says the battery can go from 30% to 80% in about 25 minutes using DC fast charging. With a typical 7 kW AC wall box, a full charge is estimated at around eight hours, making overnight home or office charging practical.

Cabin, tech and comfort features

Inside, the Arcfox T1 focuses on tech and comfort. The LV3 variant gets a 15.6-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system paired with a six-speaker audio setup, along with voice control, Apple CarPlay and EasyLink connectivity. Front occupants benefit from heated and ventilated seats, a rare feature at this price point in Nepal.

For devices, there is a 66 W fast-charging port for front passengers and a 27 W USB Type-C port for those in the rear. The vehicle will be offered in five exterior colours, giving buyers more choice in appearance.

Drivers can toggle between Eco, Comfort, Sport and Personalized drive modes, balancing efficiency and performance to their preference.

Safety and driver assistance

The Arcfox T1 LV3 is slated to arrive with a comprehensive ADAS and safety package. Key driver assistance features include lane departure warning, cruise control and automatic parking assist.

Standard safety equipment will comprise an electronic parking brake, ABS, EBD, ESP, four airbags, hill-hold control, front and rear parking sensors, reverse path tracing and seatbelt reminders.

More details on final pricing and exact launch day availability in showrooms are expected from Laxmi Motorhub as the debut approaches.
