Ampere has launched the updated Nexus EX+ electric scooter in India. The new model brings hardware improvements to the existing Nexus lineup, including a more powerful 5 kW motor and an IP65-rated charger designed for better water and dust resistance.

Performance and Features

The Nexus EX+ retains the 3 kWh LFP battery found in the standard model. Ampere claims a range of 136 km on a single charge. The upgraded motor provides a claimed wheel torque of 202 Nm, which is intended to improve performance on inclines and during acceleration. The scooter also features a 5-year or 75,000 km battery warranty.

In India, the scooter is available in two variants:

  • Nexus EX+: Priced at ₹1,29,999 (ex-showroom).
  • Nexus EX+ with Intellipack: Priced at ₹1,35,999 (ex-showroom).

Availability in Nepal

There is currently no official information regarding the launch of the Nexus EX+ in Nepal. While the standard Ampere Nexus is listed in our catalog, the EX+ variant has not been confirmed for the local market.

Any price figures converted directly from Indian currency do not represent the final cost for Nepali buyers. Import duties, excise, VAT, and logistics costs will significantly increase the price if the model is eventually introduced here. Buyers should rely on official announcements from authorized distributors rather than speculative pricing.

Verdict

The Nexus EX+ represents a technical update to the existing platform rather than a new model. While the increased motor power and improved charging hardware are notable, Nepali buyers should wait for official confirmation from local dealers before making purchase decisions.
