Alpha Automotive and Morang Auto Works (MAW) have together contributed Rs 21.1 million to support people affected by the recent Bhote Koshi floods.

The two distributors have deposited the amount into the Prime Minister’s Natural Disaster Relief Fund, meaning the support is already committed and available for government-led rescue, relief and rehabilitation work in the flood-hit regions.

Alpha Automotive, the official distributor of **Royal Enfield motorcycles in Nepal, has provided Rs 10 million. MAW, which handles brands such as Yamaha, Changan and Dongfeng/Nammi in the Nepali market, has contributed Rs 11.1 million**.

The auto sector has been increasingly visible in the national relief drive. **BYD and its Nepali partner Cimex Inc. have jointly pledged Rs 70 million to the same fund, while Maxus Nepal has contributed Rs 7 million. Industry bodies and dealers have also joined in, with NADA donating Rs 1 million and Mega Motors adding another Rs 1 million** for flood relief efforts.
