The Ultraviolette X47 Crossover is now in Kathmandu. A unit was seen at Ultraviolette’s showroom in Naxal ahead of its official debut at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 next week.

Vaidya’s Organization, the authorized distributor of Ultraviolette in Nepal, is expected to set the starting price at around Rs 700,000. Official pricing will be announced at the expo.

If it launches as planned, it will be Nepal’s first electric crossover adventure motorcycle after the F77 electric sports motorcycle.

Only the X47 and Desert Wing variants are expected for Nepal, even though the model is sold in India in five variants: Standard, Original, Recon, Desert Wing and X47.

Key features include a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, a high-mounted handlebar, a single-piece seat, optional panniers and an integrated radar system. Ultraviolette says the HyperSense radar-assisted rider assistance package adds blind-spot detection, rear collision warning, lane-change alerts and overtaking assistance.

Other equipment listed for the bike includes switchable dual-channel ABS, four-level traction control, regenerative braking, hill-hold assist, dynamic stability control and a dual-display setup.

The motorcycle uses a steel trellis frame with a cast aluminum subframe, preload-adjustable upside-down front forks, a rear monoshock, 17-inch alloy wheels and Brembo disc brakes.

Power comes from a 30 kW electric motor with 610 Nm of wheel torque. Ultraviolette claims a 145 km/h top speed and 0 to 60 km/h in 2.7 seconds.

The Recon and Desert Wing variants use a 10.3 kWh battery with a claimed 323 km range. The other variants use a 7.1 kWh battery with a claimed 211 km range.

It also gets a 1.6 kW onboard portable charger. Ultraviolette says this is meant to make long-distance charging easier by removing the need to carry a bulky external charger.
