TVS Motor has officially unveiled the Apache RTR 125 LC at the 2026 Milan Motorcycle Show (EICMA). This new model is designed specifically for the European A1 license category.
Performance and Design
The motorcycle uses a 125cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled DOHC engine. It generates 15 BHP at 9,000 rpm and 12 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The powertrain is paired with a six-speed gearbox that includes an assist and slipper clutch.
Visually, the bike features an aggressive stance with a compact rectangular LED headlamp and a tall transparent windshield. The display unit shown in Milan showcased a fluorescent yellow, white, and dark gray color scheme. It is equipped with a 5-inch TFT display that supports Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and full-screen map mirroring.
Hardware
For handling and stability, the bike uses a 41 mm KYB upside-down front fork and an adjustable rear monoshock. Braking is managed by a 300 mm front disc with a radially mounted ByBre caliper and a 240 mm rear disc. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 100-section front and 140-section rear tires.
Market Positioning
In the TVS global portfolio, the RTR 125 LC sits below larger performance models like the RTR 310, RR 310, Ronin, and RTX 300.
For context, TVS currently offers several models in Nepal, including the Apache RTR 160 4V, the Apache RTR 200 4V, and the Ronin (Rs 4.40 lakh). The company also sells the Apache 160 4V USD and the NTorq 150.
