Three new electric vehicle models have established a presence in the Nepali market, recording notable import figures following their recent introductions. Buyers have shown increased interest in these models, particularly during the recent festive season.
Proton e.MAS 5
Distributed by Jagdamba Motors, the Proton e.MAS 5 has recorded 359 units in imports since its July 2026 arrival. This electric hatchback is available in two trims:
- Prime: the Nepal price has not been announced
- Premium: the Nepal price has not been announced

It enters a lineup where Proton already offers the Saga (Rs 50,00,000), the e.MAS 7, the X50, and the X70.
Deepal Nevo Q05
Launched at the NADA Auto Show 2026, the Deepal Nevo Q05 has reached 306 units in imports. MAW Vriddhi brings this SUV to Nepal in two variants:
- Q05: the Nepal price has not been announced
- Ultra: the Nepal price has not been announced

This model sits below the Deepal S05 and other established offerings like the L07, S07, S07L EV, and E07.

Chery Q
Introduced by Pioneer Moto Corp, the Chery Q has recorded 200 units in imports. While bookings opened during the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026, a significant portion of these units cleared customs in late October.

These three models demonstrate a clear shift in buyer preference toward new electric options in the local market.
Our own record on this
Each is a dated change we applied to a published ex-showroom price after checking it. A logged change may be a distributor's revision or our own correction coming into line with the official figure — the log says which way each one moved, and when, not why.
