JSW MG Motor India has raised the price of the MG Majestor in its home market, but Nepal has not seen any official launch, booking, or distributor confirmation yet.
For Nepal, the change matters only as a reference point for what a future imported Majestor could cost if it ever reaches local showrooms. It is a price cue, nothing more.
Against MG’s existing Nepal line-up, the Majestor would sit far above the MG ZS EV and MG Astor if it were placed in the same premium bracket. Its India asking price also puts it in the company of Nepal’s established luxury SUVs such as the Toyota Fortuner at Rs 222 lakh–Rs 283 lakh and the Skoda Kodiaq at Rs 152 lakh–Rs 158 lakh.
In that setting, a Nepali Majestor would likely be positioned as a high-end, ladder-frame SUV. Not an entry-level family buy.
In India, MG launched the Majestor in May 2026 and has now increased the ex-showroom price of the Savvy 4X2 6S and Savvy 4X2 7S by up to Rs 1.5 lakh, taking both to Rs 42.49 lakh. The Savvy 4X4 7S remains at Rs 44.99 lakh.
MG is selling the SUV in a single fully loaded trim family with 4X2 and 4X4 options. The model uses a 2.0L Twin Turbo Diesel engine with 215.5 PS and 478.5 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. Its feature list includes triple locking differentials, 10 off-road modes, and M-Crawl.
For Nepali buyers, the practical takeaway is the price direction. If MG ever formalises a Majestor entry here, it would almost certainly land in the same rarefied price band as Nepal’s most expensive combustion SUVs, not in the mass-market segment.
