18th NADA Auto Show 2026: Final Preparations and Technological Innovations at Bhrikutimandap

Final preparations for **HP Lubricants Presents 18th NADA Auto Show 2026** are underway at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Ground, Kathmandu. Teams are racing to finish stall structures, digital displays, lighting, and electrical layouts before the gates open.

The country's biggest automobile and mobility exhibition runs from August 25 to 30 (Bhadra 9–14). This edition falls in the year that NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal marks its 50th anniversary, so organizers have branded it the Golden Jubilee version. The focus this time is on making the show better organized, more tech-friendly, and visually sharper.

Scale of the Show

The expo spreads across around 300,000 square feet with more than 200 stalls. A total of 53 vehicle brands are taking part — 23 passenger vehicle, 17 light commercial, and 13 two-wheeler brands. Around 70 stalls will cover auto parts, tires, batteries, lubricants, accessories, and garage equipment. Banks, finance companies, and insurers will also have a presence.

Robotics and Technological Highlights

A major attraction at this year's show will be the debut of the Unitree G1 humanoid robot and the Unitree Go2 quadruped robot. The G1 is a humanoid robot that walks on two legs and has human-like arms, designed for research, education, and learning complex tasks typically performed by humans. The Go2, with its dog-like design, can be used for security patrols, rescue operations, transporting goods, and following people.

Robotics, artificial intelligence, digital technology, and locally produced products will be among the key focuses of this year's show. Along with new vehicle launches, the exhibition will feature various technologies and interactive programs for visitors.

Made in Nepal, Made for Nepal

One highlight this year is the "Made in Nepal / Made for Nepal" pavilion. It promotes vehicles assembled or produced in Nepal, along with EVs, batteries, helmets, and other locally made components. The show gives Nepali buyers direct access to new models and the latest technology. It also brings consumers, dealers, distributors, and financial institutions together face-to-face to talk vehicle purchases and financing.

NADA has linked the 2026 auto show with its 50th anniversary Golden Jubilee celebrations, making this year's event broader in scope and message.
