Porsche’s electric Boxster has now been seen testing at the Nürburgring with almost no camouflage. That makes the prototype look much closer to its final form.

What changed

Key visual changes include sharper front air intakes, recessed headlights, larger side skirts and smaller side openings. There are no exhaust outlets at the rear. Short and clear.

The car keeps the familiar Boxster shape, so buyers should still recognise it instantly. The latest sighting also suggests the project is alive after earlier cancellation talk.

What Porsche is planning

Porsche CEO Michael Leiters confirmed in August that the electric 718 will be built. The model is expected to become Porsche’s first fully electric two-seat sports car.

Launch timing is still expected in 2027. Nepal pricing has not been confirmed.
