Crossfire has added a new international brand to its line-up in Nepal with the introduction of LETBE and its first model, the Flygon 220. The bike was unveiled in Kathmandu, where the company presented two versions aimed at different riding conditions: Flygon 220 City and Flygon 220 Hills.

New cross-terrain option for mixed Nepali roads

According to the announcement, the Flygon 220 has been designed as a cross-terrain motorcycle. That means it is intended to handle daily city commuting, highway runs and occasional rides on rougher roads and trails, a common mix for many Nepali riders.

Both City and Hills versions share the same main frame, suspension and engine. The key difference lies in the tyres:

  • Flygon 220 City: road-oriented tyres for better performance on tarmac, making it more suitable for urban traffic and highways.
  • Flygon 220 Hills: knobby tyres to improve grip on gravel, broken village roads and light off-road sections.

This approach lets buyers choose based on where they ride most, without changing the core mechanical package.

Engine and key mechanical details

The Flygon 220 uses a 220cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with Bosch electronic fuel injection, as stated by the company. The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and chain drive.

According to LETBE’s international specifications, the 220cc engine delivers around 12.8 kW (about 17–18 bhp) at 7,500 rpm and 17 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, figures broadly in line with the output mentioned in Crossfire’s launch communication. Fuel injection and a relatively low-capacity engine should help with fuel efficiency, which is important for riders who cover long distances.

The bike runs on an inverted front fork and a rear monoshock in overseas markets, and carries a seat height of about 780 mm with a weight close to 140 kg, making it approachable for a wide range of riders. Safety features such as dual-channel ABS and traction control are listed in international materials; buyers in Nepal should confirm the exact safety and feature set with dealers, as local specifications can vary.

Positioning in Nepal’s market

The Flygon 220 enters a growing segment of light adventure and crossover bikes, sitting between pure street motorcycles and more focused off-road machines. For Nepali buyers who want one motorcycle for office commutes, weekend highway trips and occasional village rides, the City and Hills variants of the LETBE Flygon 220 offer two distinct tyre-focused setups on the same platform.

Crossfire has not publicly detailed official pricing for Nepal at the time of writing. In European markets, the LETBE Flygon 220 is priced around 3,390 euros, but local Nepali prices, taxes and warranty terms will differ. Interested buyers should check with Crossfire showrooms for exact Rs lakh pricing, available colours and any introductory offers.
