BMW Motorrad has officially unveiled the F 450 RR, completing its new middleweight motorcycle platform. This supersport model joins the F 450 GS adventure bike and the F 450 R streetfighter in the brand's latest range.
Designed for riders seeking a sporty experience without moving to a litre-class machine, the F 450 RR draws inspiration from the larger S 1000 RR. It features an aggressive fairing with side vents and winglets. The bike includes a single headlamp flanked by daytime running lights, a 14-litre fuel tank, and a raised rear section.

Performance and Tech
At its core is a 420cc parallel-twin engine that produces 48 hp and 43 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Riders can use an optional quickshifter or the Easy Ride Clutch for clutchless operation.
- Display: 6.5-inch color TFT with Bluetooth, navigation, and music control.
- Rider Aids: ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control, traction control, and engine drag torque control.
- Modes: Rain, Road, Race, and a customizable Race Pro mode.

Chassis and Hardware
The motorcycle uses a tubular steel frame supported by a 43 mm KYB upside-down front fork and a KYB rear mono-shock. Braking is managed by a 310 mm front disc with a Brembo four-piston monobloc caliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a ByBre single-piston caliper. It rides on 17-inch wheels. The standard seat height is 790 mm, with optional 775 mm and 810 mm versions available. The bike has a kerb weight of 177 kg.

This new model brings supersport styling and electronic rider aids to the middleweight segment.
