Bajaj’s exchange campaign has reached Pokhara, giving riders a straightforward way to move from an old two-wheeler to a new Bajaj motorcycle or electric scooter.
Venue and dates
According to the organiser, the Bajaj ‘Jhyammai’ Exchange Mela is being held at the playground of Amar Singh School in Pokhara, and it will run from Shrawan 3 to Shrawan 8.
The event is part of Hansraj Hulaschand & Co.’s nationwide exchange drive. It follows earlier Bajaj Grand Exchange Mela campaigns in Biratnagar and Kathmandu.
Buy on finance with just citizenship
The main draw for Pokhara buyers is the finance offer.
- Customers can buy a new Bajaj bike on finance for up to 5 years based only on their Nepali citizenship certificate, according to the company announcement.
- The organiser says no land ownership papers, utility bills or income certificates are required for eligible buyers under this scheme.
- For those choosing instalment purchase, the dealer claims loan approval within about 1 hour, with on-the-spot finance processing.
Exchange any brand’s old bike or scooter
The mela is open to all brands, not only Bajaj.

- Customers can bring any company’s old motorcycle or scooter for exchange.
- The company has deployed experienced valuers to provide fair and relatively high valuation of old vehicles, as seen in earlier Bajaj exchange events.
- On top of the assessed price, buyers in Pokhara are being offered up to Rs 7,000 additional “bonus valuation” on their exchange vehicle, as per the local announcement.
Offer details and extra benefits
For buyers who finalise a deal during the Pokhara mela, Bajaj is promoting several financial benefits.
- 0% service charge on finance processing
- On-the-spot finance approval for eligible customers
- Extra valuation of up to Rs 7,000 on top of the valuer’s price
- Cash discounts on selected new Bajaj models (exact amounts vary by model and local dealer scheme)
These offers match Bajaj’s wider “grand exchange” campaigns in other cities, where customers have also received zero service charge and bonus valuation on old two-wheelers.
New Bajaj models and Chetak electric scooter
During the Pokhara mela, buyers can inspect and purchase various new Bajaj motorcycles, including popular commuter and sporty models available in the local showroom network.
Bajaj’s Chetak brand electric scooter will also be on sale at the event. Interested EV buyers can use the same exchange and finance facilities to move from a petrol bike or scooter to an electric option, subject to dealer terms.
For Pokhara riders planning to upgrade, the message is simple. Bring any old bike or scooter, get it valued on the spot, add up to Rs 7,000 bonus, and buy a new Bajaj, including Chetak EV, with up to 5-year finance using just your citizenship certificate.
