Suzuki has revealed the 2027 Hayabusa with a very light update: new colour options only, while the engine and feature list stay exactly as before. The model is already on sale in India, which matters for Nepal because premium Suzuki bikes here are usually shaped by Indian-market availability, duties and dealer supply.
What changed
- The standard Hayabusa now comes in Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Reflective Blue. - A Special Edition is offered in Pearl Brilliant White and Metallic Oort Gray with red accents. - The Special Edition also gets exclusive badging, a raised Suzuki fuel tank emblem, black exhaust end caps and a colour-matched solo seat cowl.

What stays the same
Suzuki has kept the 1,340cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine with output of 190hp and 150Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and bidirectional quickshifter. The electronics package carries over as well, with traction control, launch control, cruise control, cornering ABS, a motion track brake system and multiple riding modes.
What it could mean for Nepal
There is no confirmed Nepal launch yet. The Hayabusa is already an established aspirational model in South Asia, and Indian pricing remains the closest reference point for Nepali buyers. The current India ex-showroom price starts at about Rs 18.06 lakh for the standard version, while the Special Edition is positioned higher in global markets and typically ends up above the standard bike after taxes and import costs.
For Nepal, that means any eventual import would likely put the Hayabusa in the very high-price premium segment. Final showroom pricing would rise sharply after customs, excise and dealer margin. For enthusiasts here, the 2027 update is mainly about whether these refreshed colour options will make their way into the region’s grey-market or official import pipeline at a higher cost.
