Vida’s first electric scooter for Nepal Hero MotoCorp’s electric brand Vida is set to enter Nepal with the VX2 electric scooter at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, according to the announcement. This will be Hero’s first dedicated electric two-wheeler for the Nepali market.
The Nepal-specific variant list is still under wraps. Based on the Indian lineup, the VX2 range is sold in multiple versions with different battery packs and equipment levels.
What the Indian-spec VX2 offers The entry variant, VX2 Go 2.2, uses a 2.2kWh battery and is claimed to deliver 93km of IDC range. It has a 70km/h top speed, a 4.3-inch LCD display, drum brakes with CBS, two ride modes, and 33.2 litres of under-seat storage.
A faster-charging version of the same model is also on sale in India with a 1,000W charger. Hero claims this cuts charging from 0 to 80 percent to 1 hour and 41 minutes.
More recently, Hero added the VX2 Go 3.4 kWh variant in India. The broader VX2 family there includes higher-capacity options as well.
Why it matters for Nepali buyers If Hero brings the VX2 to Nepal in a similar configuration, it could suit commuters who want a practical electric scooter with removable batteries and a city-commute range. The model may also add pressure in Nepal’s electric scooter segment, where buyers now closely compare range, charging time, storage space and running cost.
At this stage, pricing for Nepal has not been confirmed. Any local price, battery plan or trim details will only be clear at the official expo unveiling, according to the announcement.
