More affordable Maxus eTerron 9 variant for Nepal
Himalayan Motrux, the official distributor of Maxus vehicles in Nepal, has brought a new Maxus eTerron 9 Comfort variant to the Nepali market. According to the company, the Comfort trim is being offered at an introductory price of Rs 88 lakh for the first 50 customers.
That puts the Comfort version well below the existing Premium variant, which, as per the distributor, is currently priced at Rs 128 lakh. The price gap comes from cutting back on some luxury and convenience features while keeping the core electric powertrain and capability the same.

Battery, range and performance
According to the launch announcement, the eTerron 9 Comfort uses the same large 102.2 kWh battery pack as the higher variant. The company claims a driving range of up to 560 km on a full charge (NEDC cycle), which is among the longest ranges currently quoted for an electric pickup in Nepal.
The pickup runs a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system with a combined output of 325 kW and 700 Nm. The front motor is rated at 125 kW, while the rear motor delivers 200 kW. Maxus says the vehicle can accelerate from 0–100 km/h in 5.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 km/h. On paper, that puts it among the more powerful road-legal pickups on sale in the country.
Charging and V2L capability
The battery supports up to 115 kW DC fast charging, and the company states that the pickup can be charged from 20% to 80% in about 42 minutes under suitable conditions. The eTerron 9 also offers Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, so owners can power tools or appliances directly from the vehicle's battery. This can be handy on work sites or during remote travel.
Dimensions and load capacity
The Maxus eTerron 9 Comfort keeps the same body size and hardware as the Premium version:

Maxus states that the eTerron 9 has received a 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating, which will be an important reassurance for Nepali buyers. The Comfort variant is equipped with:

With its claimed range of 560 km, high ground clearance and powerful all-wheel-drive system, the Maxus eTerron 9 Comfort is aimed at buyers who need an electric pickup that can cope with hilly and mountainous terrain. According to Himalayan Motrux, the model is particularly targeted at users operating in remote or challenging areas who want to cut fuel costs and emissions while still keeping strong load and towing capability.
For Nepali buyers, the key point is that the Comfort trim offers the same battery, motors and core performance as the Premium version at Rs 40 lakh less, but with fewer luxury features. That makes it a more accessible way to switch to a high-range electric pickup.
