CG Motors, the authorised distributor of several electric vehicle brands in Nepal, has opened a new multi-brand EV outlet in Pokhara. According to the company, the showroom brings AION, XPeng and Dayun models together in one location, targeting both private and commercial buyers in Gandaki Province.
EV brands under one roof
The new facility is set up so that customers can check out multiple international EV brands without having to go from one showroom to another.
- AION electric cars – positioned as premium family EVs
- XPeng electric cars and SUVs – focused on advanced tech features and long range
- Dayun commercial EVs – aimed at business and public transport use
CG Motors says buyers in Pokhara and nearby districts will be able to see vehicles in person, get one-to-one consultations, take test drives, and access after-sales service from the same location.
Focus on customer experience
The outlet has been arranged with a customer-focused layout, offering:
- Dedicated display areas for different brands
- Individual counselling for model selection, finance and charging
- Test drive facilities for shortlisted vehicles
- Service support and basic parts availability on-site
According to the announcement, CG Motors wants this Pokhara showroom to give a structured and hassle-free buying experience for first-time EV customers as well as fleet operators.
Support from local dealers and associations
Local automobile dealers and industry representatives in Pokhara have welcomed the move, saying CG Motors is helping take new-generation electric vehicles beyond the Kathmandu Valley. They have pointed out that more showroom options in Gandaki Province can make it easier for taxi operators, transport businesses and private owners to shift to EVs.
Backed by a growing charging network
CG Motors is also pointing to its nationwide charging network as a key support for buyers outside Kathmandu. According to recent company information, the network has over 260 public charging stations installed across Nepal, including DC fast chargers in Pokhara, along major highways and in key urban centres.
This infrastructure is meant to give Pokhara-area customers more confidence about charging access and reliability, especially for intercity travel.
For Nepali vehicle buyers in Gandaki, the new multi-brand outlet offers a practical way to compare AION, XPeng and Dayun EV options side by side, understand total ownership costs, and test real-world performance before committing to an electric vehicle.
